How to Start a Commission

Here’s information on things to consider before we start. If your commission is time sensitive please contact me first.

Medium
First, lets consider the medium. I offer Pencil, Charcoal, Color Pencil, Acrylic painting & “alla prima”( wet-on-wet) style Oil painting, as well as jewelry felting, wood burning and embroidery
Size
Each medium varies based on size, which is why i do have some limitations on sizes for certain mediums. See Chart below for examples of size limitations and prices. Custom sizes can be requested, but additional charges may apply.
Booking
I do have a contract for commissions, but for ease of online booking i have the option to bypass/ agree to contract upon checkout. This means that by checking out you are agreeing to contract consisting of basic copyrights, releases and agreement of pay. If you wish to fill out or view full contract you can through button below, you can also do this during checkout or email me at chicrafts@yahoo.com with contract in subject line.
Beginning to End
While the contract goes over full process, here’s a summery. Contact me with your commissioned idea, especially if time sensitive. Purchase booking size : you will not be added to my schedule without down payment.

E-mail me your reference photos (suggest 3-4 in natural light, need help feel free to contact me). Once final decisions are in place, your commission will begin. Progress photos can be provided. Upon completion buyer will pay remaining balance + shipping within 7 business days. Commission will ship upon payment OR when piece is dry, whichever is last.
